The e-bill for Toronto Property taxes and Utilities (water and waste management fees) was sent via Canada Post e-Post which will discontinue this month. City of Toronto has launched this new e-billing service.
One option is MyToronto Pay. The other is to lookup your property tax bill and utility bill on Toronto.ca. I was wondering why so complicated. It seems that MyToronto Pay is a newer and better website with more functionality. All I want is an email notification to let me know when my bill is ready and show me the detailed bill. I just signed up for this notification by enrolling my account via MyToronto Pay.
It is quite easy to use. Not the most beautiful website but it does the job.
Please give it a try and never miss a bill. Most importantly, save the trees and go paperless for all your bills if possible.
